CRETE. Phaistos. Circa 360-320 BC. Drachm (Silver, 19 mm, 5.95 g, 11 h). Youthful male head (of Herakles?) to right. Rev. Facing bull's head. BMC -. McClean 7171 (same dies). SNG Copenhagen -. Svoronos, Crète, p. 259, 27. Weber -. Very rare. An interesting issue with a youthful head of enchanting style. Graffito of ΛO on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
